Hello
I'm a student at CIA graduating in spring 2026 with a BFA for interior architecture. I have a very logical approach to design, focused on practicality and usability of a space.
My Story
I have been interested in design and architecture since I was a kid. I always loved to build stuff. The medium I used obviously changed over the years, but the premise is still the same. It started off with LEGO's. Easily my favorite toy when I was younger. I could sit there on my bedroom floor and play with thhem for hours, and when im done, I would have a build that I just had to show my parents. Year after tear the majority of my birthday and christmas gifts were LEGO kits. However they often didn't survive long because sooner or later I would either break it by accident, or I would take pieces from it to build my own creation. Only a handful of the sets are still in one piece, and the rest either got used for my own designs or joined my ever-growing collection of LEGO pieces. later on I fell in love with Minecraft, easily my favorite video game ever. I have spent so much time on there building whatever pops into my imagination. From castles, to secret lairs, to Redstone contraptions, it all fueled my love of creating. As I got into middle and highschool I started to learn more professional software, primarily sketchup. I used it for a wide variety of projects and became quite familiar with it. Later in college I learned other programs including, Fusion 360, Revit, Blender, Procreate and Unity. I even got a 3D printer so I could bring my models to reality. I spent hours working in my studio designing models of spaceships, robots and whatever else I felt like, many of which later got 3D printed.
